Health Sciences Education is a rigorous, relevant pathway that prepares students for a wide range of high-wage, high-skill, and high-demand careers in the dynamic healthcare industry. It empowers students with the academic knowledge, technical skills, and professional competencies needed to contribute to the health and wellness of the global community.
Its unique focus is on the planning, managing, and providing of therapeutic, diagnostic, and support services, along with advancements in biotechnology research and health informatics. The curriculum emphasizes hands-on, experiential learning and a deep understanding of human anatomy, patient care ethics, and safety procedures.
Students have the opportunity to be a member of HOSA–Future Health Professionals, where they may participate in skill-based and leadership competitive events at the local, regional, state, and national levels, or be active in clinical rotations and community health service projects.
