Marketing

Overview

Marketing Education prepares students for careers in business and marketing while emphasizing the value of work, ethical decision-making, and both individual and organizational success. Students develop essential skills in communication, problem-solving, and the use of current technologies, along with an understanding of today’s evolving business environment. These experiences help build the competencies needed for both entry-level employment and long-term career advancement.

Students have the opportunity to extend their learning through participation in Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs). Students interested in marketing may also participate in DECA, where they can develop real-world business and marketing skills through competitions, leadership activities,  competitive events, and community service at the local, regional, state, and national levels
