The La Crosse Central Volleyball Association provides opportunities for student-athletes of all ages to compete and improve their skills in the sport of volleyball. Originally formed in 2013 as a fundraising arm for La Crosse Central Volleyball teams, the LCVA has expanded, offering volleyball camps, clinics, leagues, lessons and more. Most of our programs are available to School District of La Crosse Students that intend on attending Central High School (or currently do attend Central) but some of our programs are available to students from all school districts.
We currently offer Spring Volleyball League Opportunities (Grades 4-8), a Summer Skills League (Grades 6-8), Summer Camps (Grades 3-8), Winter Skills Clinics (Grades 7-8), and Coaching Education (Outgoing Central Seniors only). Please feel free to contact us to discuss how our year round opportunities can best suit your student-athlete.
Quick Guide to LCVA Programs By Grade
Please note: For summer activities a students grade level is determined by what grade they are in the NEXT school year. For example: a 2nd grader would be a student that just graduated from 1st grade and is going into 2nd grade.
8th Grade: Athletes should consider our Middle Raiders Summer Camp, our Winter Skills Clinics, our Spring Volleyball League and our Summer Skills League. 8th Graders should also prepare to be a part of our High School Summer League the summer after they graduate from 8th grade.
High School: Athletes should consider our High School Summer Leagues and being clinicians for our Middle school leagues and camps. Athletes should also work with the High School coaching staff on participating in Summer contact days and our weightlifting/conditioning programs. Outgoing Seniors are welcome to participate in our Coaching Education Program as well.
