Tuesday, February 18th Central will be locked at 3:30 PM. All students must exit the building by 3:30 PM. If you are planning on attending the basketball game you should get in line as you exit as they will start admitting fans at 4:00 PM. They will admit you into the gym at 4:45 PM.

The Spring Sports season is fast approaching. On-line sports registration must be completed and a current sports physical must be on file for athletes. Any questions, see Mrs. Beyer in the Activities Office.
Students: You are guaranteed a yearbook if you order it by Friday, February 21st for $60. The Spring Extended Edition is $15. Order on-line at www.jostensyearbooks.com. A limited amount of yearbooks will be available in May on a first come first serve basis.
The School Store is having an Olympic Week sale from this week. 10% off everything except letter jackets and stadium seats. If you spend $10 or more your name will be entered in a drawing for a free hoodie.
Olympic Week is this week. Show your school spirit by participating in the dress-up days and lunchroom games to win points for your class. TODAY is “Class Color Day” and “Just Dance”. The Snowball Dance is on Saturday, February 15th from 8:00 – 11:00 PM. Tickets are $5 at the door.
NEWS FROM THE FUTURE CENTER:
Mayo Health System is holding a Healthcare Series that provides students with opportunities to learn through presentation, simulation, and hands on activities. Registration is required.
Are you a college-bound senior considering a Wisconsin school? You may be eligible for the TIP Grant. Stop in the Future Center for more information.
TOMORROW, the Future Center will be visiting Viterbo University. It will be a half day visit including a tour, lunch and talking with admissions.
February 20th will be the Hands-On Workshop. Students can immerse themselves in hands-on learning by rotating through a set of different trade opportunities. The Workshop will be held at Logan High School. Registration is required.
The Construction & Apprenticeship Fair will be TODAY from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at WTC’s Lunda Center.
The Women in Trades Event will be held TOMORROW from 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at WTC’s Integrated Technology Center. Registration is required.
The Auto & Heavy Equipment Experience will be held April 16th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Registration is required.
Health Careers Camps are held in late June. The application is due March 31st and requires a personal statement and two teacher references. Participants must be 16 years or older at the time of the camp.

A representative from the World Heritage Student Exchange Program will be here Wednesday, March 18th at 2:35 PM in Room 232. Stop in to learn about studying abroad or to get information about hosting an exchange student for the 2020-2021 school year.
Seniors who are attending WTC or another Technical College next year: The Accuplacer is being administered at Central on Thursday, March 19th at 8:00 AM in Room 232. The cost is $25. This is a placement exam for students attending Technical Colleges. Sign up in Student Services by Monday, March 16th. Any questions, see your counselor or Mac Kiel.
A representative from WTC visits Central every 2 weeks. If you are interested in going to Western or want to learn more about opportunities at the school, stop in Student Services and sign up for an appointment.
