Congratulations to the Boys Basketball Team on their 72-37 win over Tomah. 

Registration for the 2020 Trap Shooting Team is due March 1st.  Any questions see Mrs. Baumler in Attendance. 

FCCLA:  There will be a meeting Thursday during MLT in Room 102 

Softball, Baseball, & Track Athletes:  There is a mandatory Parent/Athlete meeting Thursday, February 27th at 6:30 PM. 

Auditions for the Spring Musical “The Sound of Music” will be held at Logan TODAY from 3:30 – 5:00 PM and at Central TOMORROW from 3:30 – 5:00 PM.  See audition posters for details.  You may audition at either school.  Performance dates are April 24-26.  

Anyone interested in joining Track:  There is a meeting TODAY after school in Room 306.  If you are unable to attend e-mail either Coach Kjos or Coach Laszewski. 


Any students interested in Teaching:  The UW-La Crosse School of Education is hosting an interactive day on Friday, April 3rd from 8:00 – 12:00 PM.  Students must register and have their own transportation.  See Hayley in the Future Center with questions.  

The Future Center will be visiting UW-Eau Claire on Monday, March 9th.  This will include an admissions presentation, tour, lunch and conversations with Alumni.  Pick up a permission slip and get your name on the sign-up sheet in the Future Center. 

Mayo Health System is holding a Healthcare Series that provides students with opportunities to learn through presentation, simulation, and hands on activities.  Registration is required. 

Are you a college-bound senior considering a Wisconsin school?  You may be eligible for the TIP Grant.  Stop in the Future Center for more information. 

The Auto & Heavy Equipment Experience will be held April 16th from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM.  Registration is required. 

Health Careers Camps are held in late June.  The application is due March 31st and requires a personal statement and two teacher references.  Participants must be 16 years or older at the time of the camp. 


The American Legion Americanism & Government Scholarship Test will be offered at Central on March 11th & 12th.  The test consists of 50 multiple choice and true-false questions and one essay question.  It covers topics of U.S. Citizenship, the U.S. Constitution, State & Federal Government & U.S. Flag Etiquette.  Students interested need to sign up in Student Services by Thursday, March 5th. 

A representative from the World Heritage Student Exchange Program will be here Wednesday, March 18th at 2:35 PM in Room 232.  Stop in to learn about studying abroad or to get information about hosting an exchange student for the 2020-2021 school year. 

Seniors who are attending WTC or another Technical College next year:  The Accuplacer is being administered at Central on Thursday, March 19th at 8:00 AM in Room 232.  The cost is $25.  This is a placement exam for students attending Technical Colleges.  Sign up in Student Services by Monday, March 16th.  Any questions see your counselor or Mac Kiel. 

A representative from WTC visits Central every 2 weeks.  If you are interested in going to Western or want to learn more about opportunities at the school, stop in Student Services and sign up for an appointment.
