Congratulations to the ASL Floor Hockey Team on their 5-0 win over Holmen last night.  Congratulations to the Gymnastics Team for placing 3rd in their meet last night.

Juniors & Seniors:  Do you have a good theme idea for Prom?  Put it on the white board in the LMC during finals week.

If you would like to get a free Olympic Week T-shirt, submit a design to Mrs. Ahnen in the Health Room or Mrs. Martin in Room 108 by Tuesday, January 15th.  The winning design wins the free t-shirt and a prize.

Senior Parents:  The deadline for Parent Ads has been extended until February 1st.  Go to www.jostensadservice.com, scroll to the bottom of the page and select Create a Student Ad.

Do you like spaghetti?  Saturday, January 19th the Powerlifting Team is having a spaghetti dinner at the Moose Lodge from 5:00 – 7:00 PM.  Cost is $9 and it’s all you can eat.

Finals Schedule: Check the front page of the website.  Buses leave 10 minutes after the last final each day.

Basketball Games Thursday and Friday vs Onalaska changes:  TODAY:  Girls Varsity – 5:45 – Sutton Gym, Boys Varsity – 7:15 – Sutton Gym. No Presale of tickets.

Students who park in the old K-Mart and Hardees lots:  We have been informed that the property has been sold and parking will not be allowed without a permit.  Permits can be purchased for $25 per month from Alex in the Village Shopping Center office at 788-7555.  There is a limited timeline for these as new construction will begin in March.  If you do not obtain a permit you face tickets and/or towing.

A reminder also that parking at Central is by permit only.  Tickets will be issued accordingly.

Please check the Lost and Found outside the Attendance Office if you are missing something.  Unclaimed items will be donated at the end of the semester.

The Senior Survey winners are posted in both offices and by Room 115.  Yearbook will contact the winners in the next few weeks for pictures.

SENIORS:  Remember to turn in your Diploma Cards ASAP to Mrs. Bergemann in the 2nd Floor Office.

Do you need a jacket or a pair of gloves?  If so, the Winter Weather Wardrobe is open. Ask any staff member for assistance.  Any donations can be dropped off outside Room 317.

FUTURE CENTER NEWS:

Sign up is now open for the Winona State/St. Mary’s campus visit on January 18th. Students can select either Winona State or St. Mary’s University and the visit will include an admissions presentation, campus tour, lunch, and a student panel. Come to the Future Center to sign up.

Do you have questions about a career you are interested in? Want to learn more? Come to the Future Center to discuss job and program shadows or let us know your interests and we can search for a speaker to come in and share their experiences.

Christopher Jordan Memorial Scholarship:  DUE by 3:30 PM on Thursday, February 7th.

Christopher Jordan Spirit Scholarship:  DUE by 3:30 PM on Friday, February 15th.

Willie E. Hardin Memorial Scholarship:  DUE by 3:30 PM on Friday, February 22nd.

If you are looking to make a schedule change for 2nd semester you need to do that ASAP. The last day to add a new class to your schedule is Friday, January 25th.

Students who have taken the PSAT: Please stop in Student Services to receive your scores and test booklet.
