Congratulations to the Powerlifting Team for another successful meet at Whitehall.  The boys placed first and the girls second.  Ethan Shepard was named Best Overall Male Lifter.  The following athletes have qualified for the State meet in March:  Kya Smith, Ncaylee Niemann, Teagan Overby, Anthony Wagner, Maddox Herlitzke, Marquise Cagle, Max Vanzee, Parker Gerke, & Therin Smith.

This week is No Name Calling Week.  Words have power and words can hurt.  Bullying and calling names is wrong and harmful and we want all Central students and staff to take an active role in making Central a supportive and welcoming place for everyone.

GSA will meet Wednesday during STAT in Room 311.

Junior Class:  If you would like to help plan Prom this year, attend the organizational Prom Committee Meeting on Thursday, January 20^th during STAT in Room 108.

The NHS/Red Cross Blood Drive is scheduled for January 24^th from 9:00 – 2:00 here at Central.  Students can sign up by scanning the code on the posters around the building or by seeing a NHS member.

Attention Juniors:  The application deadline for Early College Credit for Summer is February 1^st.  If you are planning to apply for this program see your counselor soon.

Seniors that are planning to go on to college:  Apply for this Scholarship now!  This application enters you into consideration for approximately 70 general scholarships.  Applications due by 3:30 PM on Friday, February 4, 2022.  Any questions or need help?  Stop in Student Services.
