Hey, students, what would you do with $1,800?  This summer, you have the opportunity to earn just that by joining one of the Mayor’s three Work Crews, set up in conjunction with WisCorp.  The Crews work on projects around the city from June 14-July 26.  It is full-time work (mostly outdoors) for those six weeks, and students are paid $300/week. They work on projects to help revitalize the city, but there are also team building and skill building activities connected with it, as well as opportunities to meet with community leaders. The mayor will be here Thursday March 21st to speak with students who might be interested in applying for and working on the Mayor’s Work Crew. This meeting will be in the LMC during MLT. Any interested student age 16-18 is welcome.

Health Careers Camp offers a once in a lifetime opportunity for students to job shadow, experience campus life, and learn more about high demand jobs. Applications are due March 29th. For more information, come to the Future Center.

Did you know a laptop is included in the price of tuition at UW-Stout? The Future Center will be visiting this hands-on learning school on March 15th. Sign up now to secure your spot.
