Prom Reminders: Voting closes TOMORROW – you received a Google Form. Tickets are $5 and are on sale in the Concession Stand during lunch through TOMORROW. After that see Mrs. Martin in Room 108. Don’t forget your guest slips. Royalty will be announced Monday, May 17th. Song requests close on May 23 – you received a Google Form. Prom is June 5th from 7:00 – 10:00 PM.
Students remember to return your library books. Notifications have been sent if you have something checked out. Return them when you turn in your laptop. Laptops will be turned in at the end of the school year. Information is posted on the Central website.
Check the lists outside both offices to see if you ordered a yearbook. If you haven’t, you have until May 21st to order and be guaranteed a book in August. Order online at www.jostensyearbooks.com. The cost is $60. For Virtual Learners contact Mrs. Colburn at firstname.lastname@example.org to check the list for you.
Seniors: Pick up your Senior Check Out Sheet in the 1st floor office TODAY. All signatures are required by Friday, May 21st.
If you have not picked up your cap/gown unit please do so before Friday. Also if you were e-mailed about honor chords those need to be picked up also.

Students are reminded to get your parking tickets, lunch money, and any other fines taken care of in the first floor office to make your check-out much smoother.

Soles for Souls: Need to clean out some closet space? Donate your new or gently used footwear. Collection bins are located outside the second floor office until May 14th.
Moon Tunes Volunteers are needed this summer to pop and bag popcorn and to sell soda/popcorn/water from 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM on June 10th, August 11th, and September 11th. There will be a tentative orientation on May 20th or 27th from 5:00 – 6:00 PM at the Rotary Lighthouse Warehouse. Volunteer hours look great on college applications and scholarships plus feel great helping out your community.
10th Grade students who were in Honors Biology last year and turned in an Exploravision paper need to stop by Room 315 and pick up your certificate and reward from Mrs. Morgan.
You are invited to audition for the Central Show Choirs! New music, new directors, new choreographers. Auditions will be held on May 19th from 3:30 – 6:00 PM and May 20th from 5:00 – 7:00 PM with a choreography learning session on May 17th from 3:00 – 4:30 and 6:00 – 7:00 PM. Just scan one of the QR codes on the audition flier which can be found posted around the school. Any questions, see Mr. Schultz.
Dance Team Tryouts are May 17th-21st from 6:00 – 8:00 PM in the Old Commons. If interested e-mail the coaches at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Prom will be held Saturday, June 5th from 7:00 – 10:00 PM. Tickets will be $5 and will be sold during lunch starting May 5th. If you are a Virtual student, you may purchase a ticket from Mrs. Goodman in the first-floor office. You may bring a guest but if they are not from Central or have already graduated, you must complete a Dance Guest Form. You can find one on our website or in the first-floor office. All attendees must be under the age of 21. Watch for a Google Form to request songs. All songs need to be clean versions and will be screened. No songs will be added after May 23rd. You will receive a Google Form to vote for Royalty. Juniors will vote for 10 and Seniors will vote for 20.
FUTURE CENTER NEWS
Students who will be age 16-18 by this summer and enjoy nature should consider working as part of the Mayor’s Crew with Wiscorps. More information can be found at www.wiscorps.org under “jobs” then “La Crosse Mayor’s Crew”.

The Future Center advisors have put together a virtual resource library for students who want or need information regarding topics such as Xello, FAFSA, College Applications and others.
