Boys Soccer tied West Salem 4-4 last night.  They will be teaming up against the Central ASL Soccer Team in a match on Thursday, October 26th at 4:00 PM in the Sutton Gym. 

Congratulations to the cast of “The History of Dating”.  Cast lists are posted on the doors of the auditorium and Room 108.  Please check your roles and confirm your acceptance by completing the Google form that was sent to you.  A meeting for anyone interested in crew work will be announced at a later date. 

Students are reminded to update their laptop operating system to Mojave.  If you need assistance, stop in the LMC. 

DECA Members:  If you are interested in the Leadership Lab in the Dells, see Mrs. Hinkel right away. 

FBLA/DECA Members:  Remember to pay your dues by the end of September so you can attend conferences.  We need football concession workers on Friday, September 27th and Friday, October 11th at UWL.  See Mrs. Colburn or Mrs. Hinkel in Room 115 & 118. 

Raider Readers Book Club meets Wednesday mornings at 7:00 AM in Room 220.  All students are welcome.  We will be reading “All The Bright Places” by Jennifer Niven. 

Seniors:  Graduation pictures are due to Mrs. Colburn by November 7th. 

Buy your 2020 yearbook at the lowest price of $49.00 until November.  There are payment options available.  Order at www.jostensyearbooks.com.  There are also a limited number of 2019 supplements for purchase.  The cost is $15.00.  Contact Mrs. Colburn in Room 115. 

NHS applications are available now on the website and are due by October 4th to Mrs. Barnhart in Room 337. 

Picture Re-Takes will be taken on Tuesday, September 24th.  If you missed registration or want a re-take please stop by the Student Services Hallway and have your picture taken. 

FUTURE CENTER NEWS: 

Viterbo is hosting a Human Behavior Career Day on October 16th that will include a case study and simulation as well as a student panel.  To learn more stop in the Future Center. 

Seniors:  Are you stuck and don’t know how to start your application essays?  Visit Hayley in the Future Center for help getting started or have her review what you have so far.

Juniors:  Attend the Career Expo on Thursday, October 3rd at the La Crosse Center.   Visit College and Military Reps and hear career speakers.  Sign up in Student Services by September 26th or register at www.gotocollegefairs.com 

Career Exploring Programs are running again this Fall.  This is a program for young men and women to explore careers in a hands-on, interactive, fun and interesting environment.  Career Exploring Programs include Aviation Exploring, Engineering Exploring and Law Enforcement Exploring.  Pick up a flyer and application in Student Services. 

The window for Wisconsin students graduating in 2020 to apply for a Herb Kohl Student Excellence Scholarship is September 1st – November 5th at 5:00 PM.  More information can be found at Kohleducation.org 

Juniors and Seniors:  The application deadline for Early College Credit/Start College Now for 2nd Semester is October 1st.  If you are planning on applying you should meet with your counselor soon to discuss options.
