HOW TO COMPLETE YOUR FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA)

Create your FAFSA ID:  http://fsaid.ed.gov

Start the Application: https://fafsa.ed.gov/

For You and Your Parent/Guardian:

You will need the following to complete the FAFSA:

  1. Social Security Number (s).
  2. Dates of birth, death, marriage, and divorce.
  3. Most current (or recent) year’s W2 and tax return.
  4. Recent bank statements.
  5. Amounts of additional income.
  6. Value of any other assets.

  • Monday, Oct. 8, 2018 – 6:00-8:00 pm at Holmen High School, 1001 McHugh Rd, Holmen, WI.
  • Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018 – 5:00-7:00 pm at Black River Falls Middle School, 1202 Pierce St., Black River Falls, WI
  • Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018 – 5:00-7:00 pm at Sparta High School, 506 N. Black River St., Sparta, WI
  • Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2018 – 5:00-7:00 pm at Cashton High School, 540 Coe St., Cashton, WI

Get free help completing the FAFSA from financial aid experts.   Students should attend with a parent or guardian, if possible. You should bring specific materials to make the most of this event.  Check their webpage or stop in the Future Center for more information.     www.collegegoalwi.org
