Hi, my name is Jenny Ruetten. This is my 21st year teaching and my 14th year teaching at Emerson. This year Miss Heller and I will be sharing all of the 5th graders. I will be teaching Social Studies and Science, Miss Heller will be teaching Math, and we will both be teaching Language Arts.

I have lived in the Coulee Region for most of my life and absolutely love it here. Some of my hobbies include walking, running, cooking, reading and various art projects.

My family and I live outside of La Crosse near Goose Island. My husband, Vince, teaches Math at DeSoto High School. Amanda, our oldest, is a freshman at UW-Madison and Isabella, our youngest, is a junior Central High School. We enjoy hanging out together with our dog Stella and our cat Carlos.
