Hamilton Elementary After School Program

The Hamilton After School Program is held Monday – Friday from 2:55 – 5:30 p.m. for Hamilton Elementary Students.
Students enrolled in the after school program receive a free nutritious snack from the School Nutrition Program from 2:55- 4:00 p.m.

After School Homework Help and Tutoring
Students in grades K – 2 have the opportunity to receive homework help by tutors. Tutors also work one-on-one and in small groups with students on Reading and Math skills.

Hamilton Branch of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse
The Hamilton Branch of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater La Crosse operates in partnership with the Hamilton After School Program. The Club provides academic, athletic, and asset building programming to youth living in the Hamilton neighborhood in a supervised setting.  All south side students have the opportunity to become members of the Hamilton Branch of the Boys and Girls Club. Students need to complete a club registration form, including parent signature, and return it to the Hamilton Branch of the Boys and Girls Club to be considered a member.
Everyday club members participate in programs and activities based on their grade and the club schedule. Life skill and enrichment classes club members participate in on a rotating basis include:

 • Technology Lab

 • Spanish Club

 • Arts and Crafts

 • Science Club

 • Story Time

 • Dance

 • Computer Time (Stride Academy Program)

Students can join the Hamilton Boys and Girls Club and Hamilton After School Program at any time during the school year. Kindergarten through second grade students are located at Hamilton and third through fifth grade would go to the Mathy Boys and Girls Club Site.

Parent Education / Family Nights
Hamilton Family Nights take place once a month throughout the school year. Each family night begins at 5:30 pm and ends at 7:00 pm. Our upcoming nights for the 2016-2017 school year are listed below.
