Colin Klos has been a partner at MBA for 21 years where he currently is the head of design and marketing for the firm. His expertise is master planning for mixed-use developments, restaurant/ foods service design and retail consultation. He is the President of the Advisory Board for Architectural Technology at Western Technical College, on the Advisory Board of Architectural Technology at Dakota County Technical College Foundation, past board member of the Learning Center of La Crosse, and has served on many education sub-committees for La Crosse Pubic Schools.
He is a Past State President of AIA Wisconsin, past president and charter member of La Crosse North Rotary and was a leader in developing La Crosse’s Commercial Design Standards. He continues to be a life long learner.
Western Technical College
Michael J. Poellinger has been an instructor at Western Technical College in the Architectural Technology Department since 2008. After a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from UW-Milwaukee in 1991, he spent a majority of his career designing homes throughout the Coulee Region. He joined La Crosse area’s Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors in 2005 and served as president in 2011-2012. An avid proponent to “real world” situations in education, he utilizes his positions to develop student designed homes for Habitat partner families in need.
La Crosse School District Technology Services Director
Vicki has served education and education technology functions for over 25 years within Wisconsin school districts. Her work is to support the instructional and administrative technology and resources needs of the students, teachers, and staff in the La Crosse School District. She has past experience in project-based learning and integration of technology. She serves on many state and regional boards and organizations. She is married and has a daughter, son, daughter-in-law and two grandsons. Her grandsons challenge her thinking about learning and technology every time she sees them!
Dairyland Power Cooperative
Nathan was born and raised in central Wisconsin on a dairy farm his parents still operate. He has a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science, has done graduate work in history and education, and is completing a master’s degree in public administration. Nathan has worked on several political campaigns in various leadership and advisory capacities. His public service career began in the Wisconsin State Assembly as a Legislative Aide and continued with former Wisconsin Governor Jim Doyle as Deputy Director of External Relations and Legislative Affairs. Nathan works for Dairyland Power Cooperative in Government Relations; he lives in La Crosse, Wisconsin with his wife and two children.
