Guidance counselors are available at Lincoln Middle School to discuss individual needs regarding students.
TANYA VAUGHN, GUIDANCE COUNSELOR
I received my Bachelor’s degree from Viterbo University and my Masters degree in School and Community Counseling from Winona State University. I love working with middle school students because they are at the stage of life where they are beginning to figure out who they are and how they fit into the world. It is an exciting and challenging time for students and I feel fortunate to be a part of it!
RICK BLASING, GUIDANCE COUNSELOR
This year begins my 21st year in education, having served fourteen of those as a social science instructor at the high school and community college levels. Most recently, I served for six years as a school counselor at Central High School in LaCrosse. My post-baccalaureate work includes an MA degree in History/Sociology from Fort Hays State University (Kansas) and an MS degree in School Counseling from Winona State University.
My wife and I enjoy traveling with our three children, visiting family, touring museums, and any outdoor activities. I am deeply inspired by the energy and promise that exists in every one of our great students at Lincoln Middle School. They all have tremendous potential and have wonderful dreams that they can aspire to. It is my heart-felt mission to help each student discover their talents and interests, and to offer them the tools needed to build a successful and rewarding life of their choosing.
