HMONG NEW YEAR FESTIVAL

SEPTEMBER 21ST AND 22ND 2019

As many of you know, the Hmong Cultural and Community Agency will be hosting the La Crosse Area Hmong Community New Year Festival on the weekend of September 21st and 22nd out in Veterans’ Park in West Salem.  This is a community event and you are invited.  I hope you will take some times to come out and enjoy the festivities with our Hmong students, families, and community.
I am also passing along a couple key community events that I think are important for our district leaderships and staff as we continued to engage in our district equity works and racial justice conversations.
I am hoping to some a lot of you at some of these events.  Remember, the best way to learn about a culture or a different community is the be part of it.  Please help spread the word.
Flyers are attached below.  Please let me know if you have any questions.
Happy New Year or as we say in Hmong, NYOB ZOO XYOO TSHIAB. Thank you.
