Hello Spence Families!
As the school counselor, my role is to assist students with social, emotional, and academic barriers to learning so they can feel successful at school and prepared for their future.
I teach guidance lessons once each month for K-5th grade classrooms on topics including Skills for Learning, Empathy, Emotional Management, Diversity and Respect, Protective Behaviors, and Problem Solving. I am also available to meet with students individually or in small groups on a short-term basis to help address social, emotional, or academic barriers to learning. Furthermore, I work with families to ensure their children are able to come to school with basic needs met so they are ready to be successful learners.
Please contact me by phone or email if you have any questions or concerns about your child’s development. I look forward to working together to ensure your child has the best possible experience at Spence Elementary School!
