Español 8 is the equivalent of Spanish I at the high school level.  We will meet every day during the entire school year.  After a review and assessment of our 7th grade work, we will finish the remaining 2/3 of the Spanish I curriculum during this year, completing the same assessments as our high school counterparts.  Successful completion of Spanish I at the middle school will enable students to enroll in Spanish II during their freshman year of high school.  Credit for Spanish I will be awarded at the high school after the successful completion of Spanish II.

Please use your Spanish 8 Google Classroom to find our lesson plans and homework for each week.  Links can be found on this page under TAREAS Y LISTAS. They are posted on the home page to provide vocabulary lists and homework copies. These lists and homework copies will also be posted on Google Classroom.  Students will have paper copies of these documents in their binders, as well.

7th grade Spanish meets every-other-day for the entire school year.  During the 7th grade year, we will complete approximately 1/3 of the High School Spanish I curriculum.  Successful completion of both 7th and 8th grade Spanish classes will earn students a High School Credit for Spanish I, and enable them to enroll in Spanish II for their freshman year of high school.
