The PTO is raising money to fund educational field trips, reflex math, and classroom supplies. We want to promote a healthy lifestyle to our students and the community. Please help us reach our fundraising goal by supporting our Fun Run. We have teamed up with The Get Movin’ Crew© to make this event fun and profitable. You can help us by helping your child raise a total of $70 in donations.

Spence Elementary is collecting canned goods and non-perishable items between October 16th and 30th for the iFeed largest one-day food drive EVER!
The 5th grade “Food Fighters” group is organizing our school food drive.
After bringing in food drive items, students will receive tickets to guess our display pumpkins’ weights for a chance to win a PUMPKIN DELIVERY TO YOUR HOME BY MRS. SHIREL ON OCTOBER 31st!
Our friends from the Coulee Region Humane Society Read to Rover program will once again be joining us at Spence with furry pals Anna, Niko, and Olive! We are excited to welcome them to read with our students. Find out more at https://www.couleehumane.com/read-to-rover/
This program is so exciting because:
(1) Petting a dog has been found to lower heart rate and stress.
(2) Dogs are great listeners, and they don’t make fun or tease if our readers make a mistake or have trouble.
(3) These dogs are cute and experts at listening to stories!
If you have any questions or concerns about your child participating in this program, please contact your child’s classroom teacher.
