Below are universal standards for masking and social distancing we are putting in place:
– Masks are not required outside for students at any grade level.
– We are maintaining physical distancing of 3 feet whenever possible.
Mask-wearing will be determined using the seven day case rate in the school district. An average will be taken of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday to inform the following week. The benchmarks chosen are based on the HGHI thresholds.
– Students in grades 4K-7 will be required to wear a mask indoors if the average case rate is greater than 2.0/day/100K people.
– Mask wearing will revert to optional for 4K-7 students if the average case rate is below 1.0/day/100K people.
