As a graduate of the School District of La Crosse, it is with great excitement that I am teaching in the district that scaffolded my learning. I moved away for my college experience and completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin – River Falls. During my college experience, I had the opportunity to teach in a variety of settings; some settings include urban, rural, inner city St. Paul, public and private institutions, and abroad in Australia. I have an appreciation for the La Crosse area and I am proud to be back. I first started teaching Kindergarten in the Fall of 2010. In December 2012, I graduated with my Master’s Degree from UW-La Crosse. In July 2017 I added an administrative licensure through Viterbo University.  I am a life-longer learner myself, I went back to UW-La Crosse to earn my 316 Reading License during the 2018-2019 school year.  After teaching Kindergarten for nine years, I took on a new role at Southern Bluffs, as an academic Interventionist.  I am looking forward to working with students in the areas of reading and math!

My husband, Alex, and I purchased a home in La Crosse and added a yellow lab, Patrick, to our family (2009). We have two daughters, Jillian was born January 2014, and Ellen was born March 2016.
