The selection of Logan Scholarship awards is based on merit demonstrated in a variety of ways:

• Leadership in school
• Civic and other extracurricular activities
• Academic Achievement (suggested 3.0 or higher)
• Financial need
• Motivation to serve and succeed in all endeavors
• Area of interest (such as trades)

Completing This Form

you will need:

• List of school activities you have been involved in and the years of participation
• List of awards and achievements
• Your work history
• Essay (500 words or fewer) – Tell the Logan scholarship committee why you intend to enter postsecondary education, what you hope to accomplish with the skills/knowledge/degree you earn, and any special needs or circumstances (financial, academic, and/or personal) that have impacted your journey to this point.
