Course Description

Students in grades 2-5 will explore the history of clay and compare ancient clay work to modern clay art. Students will create pottery, beads and sculpture from natural clay and manufactured clay, such as air dried clay. Students will glaze and paint their work and take them home when completed (ceramic pieces may require a later pick-up date to allow for firing in the kiln).
