Course Description

Origami Students complete hands-on activities that teach about origami, an Asian paper-folding art form. From frogs to flowers to airplanes, this class will give students an introduction into the art of folding paper! Jewelry Design, learning basic jewelry terms and how to design basic jewelry. ‘Shrinky Dink’ designs to incorporate into window hangings, garland and additions to their jewelry—learning how to easily apply these techniques to consumable fast food left over items that can be recycled instead of thrown. Look closely at science of why things reduce down percentages by heating up, reading about paper cranes, etc.
